Hindsight is 20/20, but might there have been clues during the interview that this job was going to suck? Improve your vision by keeping an eye out for these red flags.

1. You get asked strange questions

Web developer Dave Haynes thought it was a bit odd when a potential boss asked if he was offended by cursing. “I said, ‘No, I curse sometimes myself. No big deal.’” But after taking the job, it became apparent why the topic had come up. “The boss cursed ALL the time. Every sentence that came out of his mouth was filled with negativity and cursing. He cursed in e-mails and in comments in the code for the software we were writing. He cursed so much that I actually was offended (and later quit).”

SAP Interview

An SAP Interview Process is no different from any other IT interview process. Depending on the type of job (Contract, Temp, Full time etc) the questions do vary though. As usual there are technical rounds, managerial rounds (if you are applying for an SAP PM role), HR round. Our focus through this article will be more on the technical and managerial rounds.

Technical Round

Technical interviews are mostly held by the tech leads, although project managers are part of the interview sometimes. When I mean technical, it could be for an SAP functional position, ABAP, Basis or other technical positions. Not all types of interviews have all of the following phases. For eg., a full time position or a contract-to-hire will involve more general questions, his/her project/achievement related questions activities etc while a contract position will involve more focussed questions on the module/specifics for which he is recruited for. continue reading…

The paper highlights six common mistakes companies make in a down economy, and how organizations can use business intelligence to avoid them. The paper also includes a self-assessment questionnaire to determine the level of business intelligence opportunity across an organization.
